CFB Esquimalt is located within the Greater Victoria area, west of downtown Victoria in the municipality of Esquimalt. It’s central location makes it easy to reach from the West Shore or downtown Victoria on either side.

CFB Esquimalt employs over 4500 military members and over 2000 civilians and has a large impact on the local economy through their payroll, supplies, services and construction projects. It is also one of the largest employers in BC.
